Posting consistently is one of the most important things to do in order to grow an Instagram account. You want to keep your audience engaged with the account and not forget about it. I recommend posting once a day. Posting less than that is not good and will make it hard to grow.
It's not a secret people love free stuff. So doing giveaways for stuff related to the niche of your account is always good. It generates a lot of engagement and new followers. Just make sure you're in compliance with the law, I'd recommend consulting with a lawyer.
4. Aesthetically pleasing profile
Create a unique, aesthetic profile picture that will draw people in. Use your bio to explain in short what is the account about. And I also recommend using a unique template for posts and stories. Doing something different from your competitors is always a plus.

I do not recommend this if you're looking for high quality followers, but if you're okay with semi-active followers, You should definitely do this. Find accounts that post similar content to yours, follow them and start commenting on their posts with relevant comments. Do not comment "Follow me I'm posting about bla bla" because then all of them will block you rather quickly and you won't gain anything. It'll give you an idea on which kind of posts do the best so you can adjust and keep creating the same content, and also gives you the data of when are your followers most active. It is a very powerful tool a lot of business owners are not taking seriously but should.

After we have been through on how to grow followers, I'm going to give you tips on how to make money from your Instagram account. Those tips are not for businesses but for accounts like memes, fanpages, sports pages etc.

You can make money by selling stories and posts. What does that mean? Getting paid to post something a business or an individual wants you to post in your story or as a post.
